We can typically accommodate any type of therapy for individuals, couples, families, and even groups using our teletherapy platform. To engage with young clients, we will utilize interactive online therapy components like games and stories to help them understand and cope with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other concerns they may be experiencing. Grief & Loss
Grief and loss are unavoidable parts of the human experience. We meet and are impacted by wonderful people, and some of them will leave us. Navigating the pain of losing a special connection you had means grieving the loss of that part of yourself that only exists in relationship to this other person. With therapy, you can learn to live with grief, heal from pain, and experience more fulfilling days again. Some ways we support clients through loss and grief include:
- Bereavement support for children and families
- Support for women and their families experiencing perinatal loss
- Support for children and families living with chronic illness
School Related Issues
School is meant to be where young people learn about math, science, literature, geography, and other subjects that will benefit them later in life. It’s also where our kids learn how to navigate the larger world and develop into independent adults. Unfortunately, that means school is also filled with challenging people and situations – just like our adult lives! We can help kids handle school-related issues in many different ways, including:
- Counseling for Bullying, Cyberbullying, & Relational Aggression
- Support and skills training for students with ADHD and other learning needs
- Social skills support and groups for students
- School Avoidance and chronic absence interventions
- Counseling and parent support for At-Risk children and teens
