Paul Rubin, CMHC-LP utilizes a person centered approach to support clients from diverse backgrounds and various populations including children, adults, seniors, and the LGBTQ community. He has worked in numerous settings including schools, agencies, community programs, corporate & private practices, as well as children’s bereavement camps. His areas of expertise include grief and loss, caregiver concerns, depression, stress and anger management, anxiety, & family conflict. His experience and work with school age children include addresses important issues such as bully/cyberbully, behavioral issues, and peer relationships.
Paul is also the Executive Director of Camp Good Mourning!, a nonprofit that provides FREE bereavement camp programs for children, ages 7 – 17, who are coping with the loss of a parent and or sibling.
Paul is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Limited Permit Holder (CMHC-LP) who earned his Master’s Degree in School Counseling and an Advanced Certification in Mental Health Counseling from LIU Post.
