We are happy you decided to learn more about working with the therapists at Great South Bay Therapy. Our excellent team of licensed clinicians are ready to support you and/or your family. Nearly all of our initial sessions are able to be scheduled within one to two weeks of your first contact, so you don’t need to worry about long wait times. We understand how busy families are these days, and we want to make the therapy process as simple as possible. To this end, we have four office locations to choose from in Sayville, Bayport, Garden City and West Islip. We also have day, evening, and weekend hours available to meet your needs. Additionally, we make getting the process started as simple as possible. You can learn more about scheduling your visit on this page.
Getting Started at Great South Bay Therapy
How to Schedule Your First Visit
We offer three easy ways to get in touch with us to set up your initial visit:
- Call us at 631 472-2629 and leave us a brief message (make sure to say what location you are interested in). Let us know a good time to call you back. Almost all calls are answered the same day or within one day (not including weekends).
- Email us at [email protected] and let us know what services, days, and times you are interested in. We respond to emails the same day or within one business day. You can email us right from this website as well. Click the email icon at the top right or click the “contact” tab.
You Won’t Forget – We’ll Confirm All the Details!
Once your appointment has been scheduled, you will receive an email confirming the day, time, office address, therapist information, and payment details.
You will also be able to complete all intake and consent forms on a secure online platform – no need to print them out or spend your first visit completing paperwork!
Your Child’s First Visit
If the appointment is for a minor child, we suggest one or both parents/guardians attend the first visit (with or without the child, depending on the child’s age). Parents play a vital role in child and adolescent therapy. Parent only and/or family sessions are common unless otherwise indicated. This will be discussed at length with your therapist during your initial visits.
