Emily Perednia, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker and graduate of Stony Brook University’s School of Social Welfare. She has extensive field experience working with children, teens, and adults in education and community based agencies as well as trauma centers.
Emily’s therapeutic style is based on evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Empowerment and Strengths Based Approach and Positive Psychology. She offers a creative lens to healing through the development of Mindfulness practices and other integrative approaches such as the use of play, art, and music. Her approach to healing and happiness is always specific to you and your needs.
Emily’s goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and trusting environment where you can define and tackle all of life’s obstacles and challenges. She is dedicated and passionate about having a positive impact on all of her clients and their families.
